The Silicon Valley Monterey Bay Council has a variety of special events to help raise some of the necessary funds for our Scouting programs. We invite you to join us at one of our fundraising dinners, golf tournament or sporting clays events.
Council Recognition Dinner – The Council Recognition Dinner is held every year in February and honors the previous year’s Scouts that have obtained the rank of Eagle Scout and Venturing Summit Award. At this dinner, we also recognize the most recent class of Silver Beaver Honorees, along with special recognitions like Alumni of the Year and Lifesaving awards.
Character Awards – The Character Awards honors five individuals in Santa Clara County that serve as role models for our youth.
Growing Future Leaders Dinner – Growing Future Leaders is a recognition dinner, honoring someone within the Agriculture Industry.
Produce for Scouting – Cash or produce donations help raise money for our Scouting programs.
Golf Tournament – The Golf Tournament is held annually in September at Cinnabar Hills Golf Course. Enjoy a day of golf followed by a live and silent auction and dinner reception.
Sporting Clays – The Sporting Clays is a new event held at Coyote Valley, in Morgan Hill. We will have two Sporting Clay Events this September, for the North and South areas. This fun event, based on the English shot gun sport, supports Scouting in our area. To sign-up a team or to volunteer, follow the link above.
Distinguished Citizen Dinner – Our largest fundraising event, we honor an individual or couple in the community, selected by their peers, who has given their time professionally and within the community.
