2022 Bear Paw Indoor Training – NEW DATE
An indoor training session that teaches scouts and adults basic skills related to cold weather camping so they are better prepared to teach others, in their home unit, on what to expect. This includes keeping warm, dry and safe in cold weather and hopefully snow.
Indoor Session, Saturday, November 12, 2022, 8:00 am to 3:30 pm
Mount Olive Ministries, 1989 E Calaveras Blvd, Milpitas, CA
8:00 registration ** 8:45 program starts ** 3:30 program ends

- How to Dress for Cold Weather Camping
- Building Snow Shelters
- What and How To Pack For Cold Weather Camping
- Orienteering
- Traveling On Snow
- Menu Planning and Cooking In Snow
- Winter Emergency Care
- Leave No Trace
- Driving In Snow Country
- and other interesting topics.
Cost for the indoor session (includes patch, rocker, all training material, and lunch): $20.00. ($25 after 10/16)
